Construction Management Pre-design Services
- Provide Value Engineering Recommendations maximizing value to
cost benefits
- On-going development of costs and preliminary budgets throughout the design phase
- Review design for constructability, code compliance, systems review, design standards, product quality, assemblage and sequencing of work
- Continue to track schedule progress and bring work task force forward to reduce time
- Provide monthly PMIS reports to owner
- Apply generalized details in relation to value engineering guidelines
- Establish "real" cost for materials and equipment; introduce sub-contractor review and budgetary estimates and finalize guaranteed maximum price (GMP)
- Set-up preliminary scope and division of preliminary budgets to be revised as necessary
- Prepare pre-qualification packages for sub-contractors and vendors
- Prepare the bid manual to include: fully planned sequencing, staging, protection and coordination
- Prepare scope of work based on bid packages
